Lyyff is a life simulation app that uses AI to generate personalized life scenarios and outcomes. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing engaging life simulation experiences.

Data Collection

Data We Collect

Simulation Inputs: When you create life simulations, your inputs (character details, choices, scenarios) are sent to OpenAI's API for processing and story generation. We do not store these inputs on our servers. OpenAI processes them according to their privacy policy and API data usage terms.

Authentication Data: If you create an account, Firebase Authentication stores your email address and authentication credentials. This is used solely for account management and login.

Simulation History: Your simulation history may be stored locally on your device to allow you to revisit past scenarios. This data remains on your device unless you choose to sync it via iCloud (if enabled).

Usage Analytics: We collect minimal anonymous usage data to improve the app (e.g., number of simulations run, feature usage). This data cannot be linked back to you personally.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not permanently store your simulation inputs or stories on our servers
• We do not track your location
• We do not collect your contacts, photos, or other device data
• We do not collect browsing history or activity outside the app
• We do not create user profiles for advertising purposes

Third-Party Services

OpenAI: Your simulation inputs are processed by OpenAI's GPT models to generate life scenarios and outcomes. OpenAI's API terms prohibit them from using API data to train their models. Review OpenAI's privacy policy at openai.com/privacy.

Firebase (Google): We use Firebase Authentication for account management and Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage statistics. Review Google's privacy policy at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Apple Services: The app uses StoreKit for in-app purchases, subscriptions, and iCloud for optional data sync. Apple processes this information according to their privacy policy.

Data Storage & Security

Local Storage: Your simulation history and app preferences are stored locally on your device using secure iOS storage mechanisms.

Cloud Storage: Only your email address and authentication tokens are stored in Firebase's secure cloud infrastructure. If you enable iCloud sync, your simulation history is stored in your private iCloud account.

Security Measures: All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS). We implement secure authentication practices and regularly update our security protocols.

Your Rights

• You can delete your account and all associated authentication data at any time from Settings
• You can clear your local simulation history from within the app
• You can request a copy of your data by contacting us at dinz@dinzzz.com
• You can opt out of analytics by disabling them in app settings
• You can disable iCloud sync to keep all data local

Data Retention

• Authentication data is retained until you delete your account
• Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 14 months
• Simulation inputs are not stored by us and are processed ephemerally by OpenAI
• Local simulation history is retained until you clear it or delete the app

Children's Privacy

Lyyff is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International Users

If you are using Lyyff from outside the United States, please note that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers and third-party service providers are located.

Advertising and Tracking

We do not display ads. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
