1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Vault of Aeon ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required to consent to the processing of personal data in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the App. By using the App you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. The App is not directed at children under 13.

3. Description of Service

Vault of Aeon is a single-player collector game for iOS where users open mystical crates ("summons") to discover artifacts inspired by mythological worlds. The App includes optional in-app purchases for in-game currency ("gems") and a subscription that grants gameplay benefits. The App is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial entertainment use.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

The App offers an optional auto-renewable monthly subscription, the Mythic Pass, at $6.99/month, billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store. The Mythic Pass grants 10 daily summons, accelerated pity progress, doubled echo fragments, and a weekly mythic chest while active.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• All payments are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.

Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Apple may convert prices to your local currency. Prices are subject to change, but we will notify you in advance of any price increases.

5. One-Time Purchases and Consumables

The App offers consumable in-game currency packs ("Gems") and a one-time non-consumable lifetime upgrade ("Eternal Vault") that grants the same benefits as the Mythic Pass permanently. Consumable Gems are spent on summons within the App and cannot be refunded once consumed. The Eternal Vault is a one-time purchase that persists across reinstalls via Restore Purchases.

6. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple under their billing terms. We are not able to issue refunds directly. If you would like to request a refund, please contact Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's refund decision is final and binding on us. We will honor the outcome of any refund Apple issues by adjusting your in-game balance or subscription status accordingly.

7. Random Rewards and Drop Rates

Artifacts are acquired through a randomized summoning system. The probability of obtaining each rarity tier is fixed and disclosed in-app on the Summon screen, along with the pity-system thresholds that guarantee specific rarities after a defined number of pulls. Outcomes are determined by a random number generator on each pull. Past results do not influence future pulls except as governed by the disclosed pity system. Summoning is a game mechanic and is not gambling — virtual items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred outside the App. Where applicable law restricts loot-box-style mechanics, you are responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with local law.

8. Free Features and Limitations

The App provides three free summons per day to all users. Free summons reset daily and require no purchase. Premium benefits (additional daily summons, faster pity, increased echo yields, weekly chests) require an active Mythic Pass subscription or the Eternal Vault upgrade.

9. Virtual Items and No Cash Value

All in-game items, artifacts, gems, currencies, and progress within the App are virtual goods with no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred outside the App, or sold to third parties. Virtual items may be modified, removed, or rebalanced at any time at our discretion to preserve game integrity. We are not liable for the loss of virtual items, including loss caused by technical failures, account deletion, or service discontinuation.

10. User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App.
• Not use the App to transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• Not interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers.
• Not use automated systems, bots, modified clients, or exploits to access the App or manipulate gameplay.
• Not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written consent.
• Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, software, artifact designs, narrative content, and the overall design — are the exclusive property of Dino Bozic (dinz) and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works.

12. Account and Cloud Sync

The App offers an optional Sign in with Apple feature to sync your collection and progress to our backend servers. Your account data is stored securely and is associated with your Apple ID. You can sign out or delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Local-only play is fully supported without an account.

13. Service Availability and Force Majeure

We will use reasonable efforts to keep the App available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App relies on third-party services (including Apple, Google, and our hosting provider) and may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical failures, or events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, network outages, governmental action, labor disputes, or third-party service disruptions. We are not liable for any damages caused by such interruptions.

14. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided by the App. Mythological references and artifact descriptions are presented for entertainment purposes and may be artistic interpretations rather than historically or culturally accurate.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DINO BOZIC (DINZ), ITS AFFILIATES, OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, IN-GAME ITEMS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App.
• Any conduct or content of any third party in connection with the App.
• Any content obtained from the App.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data or content.
• Loss of in-game items, currency, or progress due to technical issues, account deletion, or service discontinuation.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dino Bozic (dinz) from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

17. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting it from your device and canceling any active subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings. Account data may be permanently deleted from our servers via the "Delete Account" option in Settings.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

18. Export Controls and Prohibited Use

You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations and applicable European Union regulations. You may not use, export, or re-export the App in violation of any such laws or to any country, person, or entity prohibited by them. You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country subject to U.S. or EU sanctions, and that you are not on any U.S. or EU list of prohibited or restricted persons.

19. Apple-Specific Terms

The following terms apply to the App when downloaded from the Apple App Store:

• These Terms are an agreement solely between you and Dino Bozic (dinz). Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App.
• In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the App to you (where applicable). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.
• Any claims relating to the possession or use of the App, including product liability, failure to conform with applicable legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or similar claims, are governed by these Terms and not by Apple.
• In the event of a third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Dino Bozic (dinz) — not Apple — is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claim.
• You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Zagreb, Croatia, except that consumers may also bring claims in the courts of their country of residence where required by mandatory local law.

21. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms, in whole or in part, to any successor entity (e.g., in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets) without notice.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

23. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
